About the Role
The Stock Clerk will receive, store, and issue military apparel and related items.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue equipment, merchandise, materials, and supplies.
- Compile stock records of items in stock room.
- Sort or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.
- Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material.
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
- Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
- Requisition articles to fill incoming orders.
- Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory count and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location, and refusal of shipments.
- Distribute stock among production workers.
- Keep records of material used.
- Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
- Adjust or report articles carried in stock.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year related work experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
