STNA/CNA/CAREGIVER

About the Role

Home Is Where The Heart Is Home Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/STNA/CAREGIVER to provide direct client care and assistance with daily activities in the client’s home. This is a part‑time position (20 hrs/week) with the possibility of full‑time as new clients are added.

Responsibilities

• Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency.
• Provide direct client care, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and home exercise.
• Assist with personal grooming and hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Perform laundry, light cleaning, and cooking.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of client care and progress.
• Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare team members, and management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to perform all essential job functions and take pride in high‑quality care.
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other in‑home care equipment (desired).
• CNA/STNA certification desired but not required; experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient attitude toward clients.
• Willingness to take a drug test and background check.
• Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
