Responsibilities
- Inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and performance verification of sterilization and decontamination equipment and systems
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Aids in inventory management
- Mentors other associates in department improvement and development
- Adheres to TRIMEDX core values in all professional interactions
Requirements
- 6 months experience in sterilization and decontamination equipment repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation
- AC/DC electrical knowledge required, able to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
- Plumbing knowledge required, able to read and understand piping diagrams and identify basic plumbing components
- Ability to integrate information from various sources
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site or region
Qualifications
- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications required
- Routine fine motor skills, bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing, balancing, or maneuvering body while servicing and repairing sterilization and decontamination equipment
- Lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs. while working with sterilization and decontamination equipment
- Knowledge of sterilizers such as Steris, Amsco, and Getinge is beneficial but not required
Skills
- Knowledge of Steris, Amsco, and/or Getinge sterilizers is beneficial but not required
- Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
- Must be able to read and understand piping diagrams and identify basic plumbing components
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay
This position has the ability to flex to a level II.
Schedule
