Staffing Manager

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking an independent, highly motivated individual for a Staffing Manager position in York, SC. This role acts as an onsite extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of the client contingent workforce, including employee relationship development and management of contingent employees. Prior experience in staffing, manufacturing, or light industrial skill sets is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies.
• Retain employees through counseling on attendance, training, and evaluations.
• Problem-solve issues that may arise.
• Communicate and follow up with production supervisors and managers on Peak-related matters.
• Update live spreadsheets and forms.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client's needs and output requirements.
• Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisor role is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
• Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated.
• People-oriented.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

Pay

$22.00–$24.00 per hour
