Staffing Manager

Job Summary

The Staffing Manager reports to the Executive Director of NSS and is responsible for managing the Nutrition Staffing team and leading recruitment and staffing initiatives for 2,200 school-based lunchroom positions in over 600+ sites. This role involves aligning workforce planning with operational goals, ensuring high-performing, well-trained employees, resolving employee matters, and driving organizational results.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR Generalist role, including workforce planning, staffing, employee relations, performance management and coaching, team-building, and training. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience. Previous experience working in a union environment is preferred.
