Staffing/HR for Long Term Care
About the role
This is a very high-paced environment where organization and customer service are essential. The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing a sustainable staffing strategy. It includes investigating staffing needs, taking actions to meet those needs, working with recruiting agencies, identifying hard-to-fill roles, and taking proactive actions. The responsibilities also involve assisting with candidate screening and interviews, new employee onboarding, evaluating new staff, assisting with new employee orientation, designing and planning work shift schedules, providing assistance with payroll procedures and activities, and creating and presenting reports to upper management regarding staffing.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
- Investigate company's staffing needs and take actions to staff accordingly
- Work with recruiting agencies when needed for staffing
- Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions
- Aid in candidate screening and interviewing
- Aid in new employee onboarding
- Evaluate new staff
- Aid with new employee orientation
- Design and plan work shift schedules
- Provide assistance with payroll procedures and activities
- Create and present reports for upper management pertaining to staffing

CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE LICENSURE OR HIGHER PREFERRED
