Responsibilities
- Complete daily schedules for the Nursing Staff
- Complete daily staffing sheets
- Interact with employees to cover daily staffing requirements
- Secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and complete daily nursing hours report for Executive Director/LNHAC
- Calculate nursing hours daily to meet PPD requirements and maintain a log
- Communicate with admissions on daily basis for census and admission/discharge status
- Review daily punch detail report and identify trends
- Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in long term care or medical settings preferred
- Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
