About the role

As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This is a full-cycle recruiting role covering the entire process from sourcing to placement. You will engage with job seekers via phone, email, or in-person, building strong relationships by coaching them through every step of the job search—resume editing, interview preparation, and post-interview follow-up.

You will also collaborate with your team to discuss open positions, post job advertisements, and utilize online sourcing tools. Success in this role requires resourcefulness, initiative, and strong judgment to assess candidates' capabilities and fit for client businesses. This is a relationship-focused sales position where effort directly correlates with results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking
  • Post jobs on job boards
  • Interview prospective candidates
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews (resume reviews, client needs discussion, mock interviews)
  • Follow up with candidates post-interview to recap and provide next steps
  • Extend job offers and manage the offer process
  • Check in with candidates on assignment to ensure their needs are met
  • Proactively cold call prospective candidates to build your pipeline
