Responsibilities

• Supports AFL Services across the US footprint in recruiting all technical and professional-based staffing needs
• Write interesting, dynamic job postings that clearly communicate job requirements and highlight the benefits of each position
• Partner with hiring managers and functional managers to source and prescreen candidates
• Source qualified passive candidates through social media, job boards, and professional networking platforms
• Review resumes and determine qualifications of candidates through a screening process
• Track each candidate’s progress through our pre-employment process using our Applicant Tracking System (UKG)
• Work with colleges and universities to build successful pipelines of talent in areas of focus for AFL businesses
• Manage external supplement staffing and headhunter relationships to ensure full-service support to hiring managers
• Build strong working relationships with hiring managers
• Stay up-to-date and build knowledge of recruiting practices, employment law, and industry trends, sharing this information with team members
• Schedule and conduct interviews, coordinate job offers, and fill open positions
• Support and conduct job fairs and recruitment/marketing activities
• Partner with the Manager, Talent Development and Training to devise new recruiting strategies and identify new recruiting resources
• Routinely evaluate processes to optimize efficiency, transparency, and consistency
• Seek ways to enhance and consistently deliver excellent customer service to hiring managers and candidates
• Interface with other HR departments (e.g., benefits, compensation, employee relations, payroll) to ensure compliance and process efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; Associate’s degree and commensurate experience required
• 7+ years of experience in Recruiting preferred
• 5+ years of Telecommunications Services or Information and Communication Technology, organization experience in Operations, Engineering, or Technical related field preferred
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interviewing, evaluation, and assessment skills
• Experience with ATS and HRIS systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred)
