Staff Therapist (LMSW)

About the role

ACNY is a group private practice focused on competent, quality, and accessible therapy in New York state. We are currently accepting applications for Master's level psychotherapists licensed in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload of 15-30 weekly completed sessions, including individuals and couples, 1-2 evenings/week and a required weekend day, part-time available.
• Maintains case notes, logs, and all required documentation within 24 hours of sessions held.
• Participates in weekly clinical supervision.
• Case management services including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources, and connecting clients to care.
• Participates in 10-15 minute phone consultations when requested.
• Participates in marketing efforts to co-create a caseload that reflects your professional goals.

Requirements

• Provisionally licensed and possess an LMSW licensed in New York.
• Demonstrated success providing therapy to your niche.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Able to be available to see clients on at least one weekend day, early mornings, and evenings.
• At least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy.
• At least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy.
• Organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails in a timely manner, and in accordance with ACNY policies.

Pay

40% of fees collected per session.

Schedule

Sick pay (1 hour/session for every 30 hours/sessions worked).
