About the Role

Audits and investigations require a high level of independence and a thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Staff Service Management Auditor will develop a knowledge base of, but will not be limited to, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and indicators of fraud consistent with guidance provided by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and will follow the Mandatory Guidance of the International Professional Practices Framework (Red Book).

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of varied analytical staff work in investigations as well as compliance and management audit functions for the Department of State Hospitals (DSH).
• Develops a knowledge base of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and indicators of fraud consistent with guidance provided by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and follows the Mandatory Guidance of the International Professional Practices Framework (Red Book).

Qualifications

• High level of independence and thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
