About the role

Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at Froedtert Hospital facility. On‑site position with FTE 0.90 (standard hours 36.00). Shift 3 (1900‑0730), rotating holidays, weekends every 3rd.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment, demonstrating competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.

Requirements

• Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
• Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice from an accredited School of Nursing (eligibility for RN licensure). Newly hired or transferred RNs without a BSN (or higher) and with less than one year RN experience must gain acceptance into an accredited BSN (or higher) program within 15 months of hire and complete it within five years; MSN/DNP/PhD in Nursing may satisfy this, with BSN awarded within five years or the advanced degree completed within six years if no BSN is awarded.
• Licensure: Current Wisconsin RN license or a multi‑state NLC license; AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider (or approved equivalent) required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
