About the role
We are seeking a Staff Recruiter to join our team as a key talent advisor for Intuit’s Local Tax Expert program. As we expand our physical footprint to 500+ locations across the USA, you will be responsible for identifying and hiring the tax professionals and leaders who will serve as the face of Intuit in our Flagship, Retail, and Local Tax offices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Local Office leadership to deeply understand business strategies and talent needs for our three distinct location types: Flagship, Retail, and Service offices.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Service Experts, Ambassador Experts, and Concierge Experts, ensuring all hires meet the specific "onsite" requirements for community engagement and tax proficiency.
- Navigate the complexities of location-based hiring, ensuring offers are extended in alignment with office lease timelines.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract high-quality external talent while simultaneously managing internal rehire funnels.
- Create best-in-class experiences that delight candidates, effectively selling the value proposition of a physical office environment, community impact, and new incentive structures.
- Use data insights to diagnose bottlenecks and provide daily updates to TA Managers on progress against hiring goals.
- Collaborate across the broader Talent Acquisition team and serve as a mentor to recruiters and coordinators on the nuances of onsite hiring.
Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of proven success in full-cycle recruitment, with a track record of hiring in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
- Experience in Retail, Field, or Onsite Hiring: Experience recruiting for physical locations is a plus.
- Proven ability to partner with and influence hiring managers at various levels, guiding them on local market trends, compensation strategy, and interview best practices.
- A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to changing dynamics—such as shifting lease timelines or evolving role requirements—without losing momentum.
- Success in using data to drive recruitment solutions and educate stakeholders on the health of the hiring funnel.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing candidates in a competitive market, specifically highlighting non-traditional benefits like community impact and flexible onsite scheduling.
- Proven ability to shape talent strategy at the organizational level — not just execute it — including building scalable hiring infrastructure, frameworks, and playbooks from scratch in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders (Director+) across functions including Real Estate, Legal, Finance, and Marketing without direct authority, driving alignment on competing priorities.
