About the role

The Staff Product Designer will lead the design of our product systems and platforms, ensuring consistency and scalability across all touchpoints. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and an ability to translate them into intuitive and effective designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of product systems and platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that support consistent and scalable product experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product quality.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product design and design systems.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in product design or related field.
  • A proven track record of leading design efforts for complex products or platforms.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work in product design, including examples of design systems and platform design.
  • Experience with design systems and tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to drive design innovation and influence product strategy.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and iterative design processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Skills

  • Expertise in design thinking and user-centered design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Experience with design systems and tooling.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
