About the role
The Staff Product Designer will lead the design systems and platform initiatives within our product design team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a cohesive visual language across all products, ensuring consistency in design principles and user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of design systems to ensure consistency across all products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and other designers to align on design strategies and solutions.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure brand consistency.
- Conduct research to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
- Work closely with developers to translate designs into code and ensure seamless integration.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in design systems and platform development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Experience leading design systems and platform initiatives.
- Strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and GitHub.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay
Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule with the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time.
