About the role

The Staff Product Designer will lead the design of our product systems and platforms, ensuring consistency and scalability across all touchpoints. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and an ability to translate those insights into compelling design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of product systems and platforms, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that support consistent and scalable product experiences across different platforms and devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to align on design strategies and deliverables.
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions and ensure products meet user needs and expectations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product design, and apply these insights to drive innovation and improvement in our products.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in product design, with a strong focus on design systems and platform design.
  • A proven track record of leading design efforts that have resulted in successful product launches and positive user feedback.
  • A bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large-scale product development teams and a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain design systems that are scalable and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
