About the role

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Staff Perfusionist to join their team in West Monroe, LA. This position is part of a team of 2, handling an average of 100 cases annually, focused on CABG and valves, with no ECMO involvement.

Responsibilities

• Part of a team of 2, handling an average of 100 cases annually, focusing on CABG and valves, no ECMO.
• Work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
• Support 1 in 8 of all heart surgeries in the country.
• Encouraged to attend conferences and be active in state perfusion societies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Perfusion training program.
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meet other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
• Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
