Chief Perfusionist - West Monroe, LA - 30k Sign On Bonus Plus Living Expenses!

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Perfusionist to join SpecialtyCare in West Monroe, LA. The case load averages 100 cases annually, focusing on CABG and valves, no ECMO.

Responsibilities

• Manage the perfusion department and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to optimize surgical procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior perfusionists
• Work on-call as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program, minimum required
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Five plus years of perfusion experience; previous experience as a Chief Perfusionist preferred
• Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital
