About the Role

Join the epicenter of Critical Care Nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian, where you will deliver expert evidence-based care for over 14,800 patients annually. Work in premier environments including Level 1 Trauma Centers (adult and pediatric), Pediatric Cardiac ICU (supporting one of North America’s largest heart transplant programs), the nation’s largest Burn Treatment Center, Level 4 Neonatal ICU, and Neuroscience ICU. This is a fast-paced, family-oriented setting where skilled nursing professionals drive our hospital-wide mission of Putting Patients First.

This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position in the Surgical Trauma ICU.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to patients in a Surgical Trauma ICU setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Engage in shared clinical decision-making within a supportive and professional culture.

Requirements

  • At least one year of acute care RN experience in an ICU or Step-down unit.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
  • BCLS and ACLS certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Must live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (on-site presence required).

Pay

Salary Range: $133,595–$153,220/Annual.
