About the Role
The Staff Nurse Resource Pool II provides specialized pediatric nursing care across multiple units, including critical and non-critical care areas.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a family-centered approach
- Demonstrate knowledge of physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of pediatric patients
- Perform leadership, mentorship, and quality improvement duties
- Support team collaboration and utilize systems-based practice and informatics
- Adapt to temporary unit assignments based on patient needs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or completion within 5 years of hire)
- Current Ohio RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, and PALS (preferred or required within one year of hire)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time options available.
Work Environment
Onsite in a fast-paced, high-acuity pediatric setting, delivering impactful care in critical and acute environments.
