Staff Nurse - Resource Pool II

About the role

The Staff Nurse Resource Pool II provides specialized pediatric nursing care across multiple units, including critical and non-critical care environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct family-centered nursing care.
• Deliver care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate leadership, perform patient-centered, quality improvement, safety, and systems-based duties.
• Mentor and precept new staff, support collaboration, and promote evidence-based practices.
• Utilize informatics and technology efficiently, including electronic medical records.
• Adapt to temporary assignments across units based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or within five years of hire.
• Current Ohio RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS required within one year.
• Minimum two years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred.
