Staff Nurse - Resource Pool II

About the role

The Staff Nurse Resource Pool II provides specialized pediatric nursing care across multiple units, including critical and non-critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on a family-centered approach
• Demonstrate knowledge of physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of pediatric patients
• Perform leadership, quality improvement, and safety duties
• Mentor and precept new staff
• Support collaboration with providers
• Utilize evidence-based practices
• Perform systems-based practice, informatics, and technology duties
• Adapt to temporary assignments based on patient needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience
• Active RN license in Ohio
• BSN or expected completion within 5 years
• BLS certification
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required within one year of hire
• Experience with electronic medical records (preferably EPIC)
• Onsite role

Schedule

• Full-time: 36 hours per week
• Part-time: 24 hours per week
