About the role

The Emergency Department/Urgent Care Staff Nurse Resource Pool II provides specialized nursing care across multiple locations, focusing on family-centered and patient-centered care for individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Demonstrate leadership, support staff education, and provide mentorship.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote efficient operations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, informatics, and technology.
• Perform temporary assignments across the enterprise based on patient needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or obtain it within 5 years.
• Active RN license in Ohio.
• At least one year of healthcare experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) required within one year.

Skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred.
