About the role

Emergency Department/Urgent Care Staff Nurse Resource Pool II providing specialized nursing care across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a focus on family-centered approach.
• Providing holistic care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages.
• Exercising leadership, mentorship, and professional duties, including staff education and precepting.
• Ensuring quality improvement, safety, evidence-based practice, and system-based practice duties are met.
• Supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting excellent customer service.
• Utilizing informatics and technology systems effectively.
• Participating in temporary assignments across various units based on patient needs.
• Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Experience with healthcare teams, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications within one year.
• Minimum of one year of relevant healthcare experience; BSN degree or obtaining it within five years is required.

Schedule

Full-time, onsite, with variable day schedules, requiring flexibility and teamwork to deliver high-quality pediatric care.
