Staff Nurse - Outpatient Burn Unit

About the Role

The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct family-centered care for individuals or groups of patients within their scope of practice.
• Deliver physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety care across all ages and developmental stages.
• Perform leadership, professional duties, and patient-centered care activities.
• Engage in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in staff education, mentoring, and precepting new employees.
• Support collaborative, team-based care to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service, especially for pediatric patients.
• Utilize informatics and technology systems, and adapt to temporary assignments across various hospital areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN (or obtained within 5 years).
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
