Staff Nurse - Outpatient Burn Unit

Role Overview

The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on family-centered approaches for diverse patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care, addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
• Perform leadership duties, mentoring, and staff education.
• Engage in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
• Support providers, foster collaboration, and ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service.
• Utilize informatics and technology tools, including electronic medical records.
• Participate in system-based practices and may be temporarily assigned to different areas based on patient needs.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or must obtain within 5 years.
• Active RN license in Ohio and Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred.
