Staff Nurse - Outpatient Allergy

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care with a focus on family-centered, patient-centered, and evidence-based practices. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for diverse patient groups, supporting provider staff, and participating in quality improvement, safety, and education initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations.
• Support provider staff in delivering high-quality pediatric care.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and education initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the nursing team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Utilize electronic medical records and Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.

Requirements

• BSN or equivalent required within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of healthcare experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.

Schedule

This is an onsite, part-time position, working primarily weekdays with flexibility to support various hospital areas as needed.
