Primary Duties

  • Analyze Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Life Cycle Logistics management of assigned programs within the Joint Program Manager Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (JPM CBRN) Integrated Early Warning (IEW) portfolio.
  • Develop, review, analyze, prepare, and/or update studies, analyses, and program documentation in the following areas: Product Support Management, Supply Support, Sustaining Engineering, Maintenance Planning & Management, Design Interface, Support Equipment, Manpower & Personnel, Information Technology Systems Continuous Support, Facilities and Infrastructure, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation, Technical Data, Training & Training Support.
  • Provide support to the product/project office for the full life cycle management, through development, procurement, fielding, and sustainment, applying Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes involving life cycle logistics.
  • Monitor product supportability requirements in relation to the established program requirements for cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Affiliate logistics input to technical briefing materials, documentation, and integrated master schedules.
  • Interface and coordinate product support efforts with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and resolve complex logistics issues.
  • Participate in Integrated Product teams (IPTs), Integrated Program Reviews (IPRs), Milestone Reviews, and any other applicable meeting to ensure logistics elements are addressed in the following program phases: Material Solution (MS) Phase, Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction (TMRR) Phase, Engineering & Manufacturing (EMD) Phase, Production & Deployment (P&D) Phase.
  • Assist/support creation and maintenance of type classification/material release and related documentation related to acquisition.
  • Manage, review, and comment on Prime contractor technical manuals, validation efforts, provisioning data, training packages, and other logistics-related deliverables.
  • Support technical manual verification events and logistics demonstrations.
  • Coordinate all levels of total package fielding activities and events of JPM CBRN IEW portfolio of CBRN Equipment and material (i.e., Instructor/Key Personnel Training, training material development, lesson plans, programs of instruction, new material in briefs, new equipment training, and after-action reports).
  • Coordinate property inventories, transportation, and packaging of equipment.
  • Conduct cataloging requirements of for both Standard and Non-Standard Equipment for the assigned programs.
  • Monitor data, enter data and conduct lateral transfer actions in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), and the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) as applicable to the assigned programs.
  • Conduct asset visibility analysis and generate property accountability reports in accordance with the appropriate regulations and policies pertaining to the management and control of Government-owned property.
  • Review and revise the Issue, loan, receipt, and turn-in documentation (i.e., DD Forms 250s, 2062s and 3161s) for property accountability.
  • Cook up and dispose of non-mission capable equipment as applicable for assigned programs.
  • Operate government owned vehicles in performance of inventory control activities, movement/transport or delivery of materials or equipment as required.
  • Operate government owned forklifts in performance of inventory management/warehousing requirements of equipment as required.
  • Be able to use the Microsoft Suite of applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) to create and maintain documents and communications.
  • Have a valid US driver’s license.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) experience.
  • Equipment and instruction training (e.g. operator and maintenance experience or certifications).
  • Acquisition Logistics experience.
  • DAU experience of foundational or the equivalent of two (2) years of acquisition experience in life cycle logistics.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Life-Cycle Logistics Acquisitions.
