Logistic Specialist III
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Transportation Specialists to join a rapidly growing team. The team drives the end-to-end operational execution of all loads shipped on our 1P network, supporting regions and shippers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight. This role addresses disruptions, keeps stakeholders informed, and resolves issues while serving as the first line of defense for network trends and exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent carrier and driver experience in a high-volume contact center environment by researching, problem-solving, and setting appropriate expectations.
- Work within the transportation network to get trailers and trucks back on track when disruptions occur.
- Adhere to schedules in a fast-paced environment, including start/stop times and breaks/lunches.
- Support workload surges and weather-related operations by working significant overtime during high-volume peaks.
- Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Support field teams by creating repair requests, monitoring load execution, and ensuring on-time pickup and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, using analytical skills to drive data-driven decisions and communicate insights.
- Provide support to drivers and carriers with over-the-road disruptions.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills
- 1+ years of contact center or customer service experience.
- Supply chain, shipping, logistics, and freight management experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Critical thinking abilities to make inferences and drive decisions.
- Interest in the role and company operations.
Schedule
This is a hybrid work environment with a 4/10 schedule. Shifts are either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, from 6:30 am to 5 pm or 6 am to 4:30 pm. The role includes in-office days: Monday and Tuesday (front half of the week) or Thursday and Friday (back half of the week).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
