About the role
The Inventory Specialist will manage the vehicle inventory at Copart facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Document vehicle conditions using company tools and photographs
- Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to facilitate timely processing
- Facilitate customer needs by understanding and applying Copart policies
- Maintain and organize the receiving area
- Operate camera and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles
- Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles
- Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles
- Maintain inventory of all materials used
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
- Basic computer proficiency, including operation of handheld devices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Driver's license preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
