Logistic Specialist III

Location: Nashville, Tennessee | Full-time, 6-month ongoing W2 contract | Onsite

Schedule

• Overtime may be required

Pay

$21.89 per hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent carrier and driver support in a high-volume contact center environment
• Research transportation issues and provide timely resolutions when disruptions occur
• Work within transportation systems to keep loads and equipment moving efficiently
• Adhere to assigned schedules, including start times, breaks, and lunch periods
• Support workload surges and weather-related operational demands
• Gather and analyze data from multiple internal systems
• Support reporting activities on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Create repair requests and monitor load execution activities
• Help drive on-time pickup and delivery performance
• Collaborate with transportation operations, shippers, rail partners, carriers, and fleet teams
• Communicate operational insights and issue updates to stakeholders
• Provide support to drivers and carriers experiencing over-the-road disruptions

Requirements

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of contact center experience
• Experience in customer service or contact center environments
• Transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience
• Experience supporting carriers, drivers, or freight operations
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
