About the role
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services. The role also assists with new employee hiring.
Responsibilities
- Conducts education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Assists with new employee hiring.
- Engages with staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs.
- Serves as an advocate for growth and development within the company.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- An Indiana RN license or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
Skills
- A passion for education, training, and employee development.
- The ability to lead and motivate others to follow infection prevention practices.
- Data management and analysis skills to monitor, track, audit, analyze data and trends for educational opportunities.
