About the Role
Our Accounting team is looking for a Corporate Staff Accountant with a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will participate in the month-end close process, prepare journal entries, variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations, assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews, and support ad-hoc projects. You will also collaborate with other teams within and outside of the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, flux/variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations during the month-end close process.
- Assist in implementing and documenting accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams outside of the Accounting Department (primarily Finance and Operations).
- Answer financial and accounting questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Assist with annual internal and external audits including preparation of required schedules, providing requested backup, and walking auditors through processes.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Other projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel.
- An eye for process improvement, ability to challenge the status quo, and identify improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically, take ownership, and see a process/project through to the end.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability, responsiveness to change, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Pay
$62,000 - $74,000 annually, plus annual bonus potential.
