About the role
In this role, you will serve as the technical coordination point for projects and initiatives of high complexity. You may lead multiple projects concurrently. You will be accountable for ensuring that deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved according to multiple project schedules. This position involves managing allocated resources from multiple delivery partners while working within approved hours and scope and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical coordination point for complex projects and initiatives, potentially leading multiple projects at once.
- Ensure deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved on schedule.
- Manage allocated resources from various delivery partners, adhering to approved hours and scope.
- Mentor and provide feedback to team members to foster a high-functioning team in a matrixed environment.
- Lead large-scale, complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams and own program integration.
- Lead high-visibility initiatives with significant executive exposure.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability in all project phases.
- Operate effectively in ambiguity and create structure where needed.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree is required. In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a related field is required. For a senior role, 5-8 years of project/program management experience is expected, with 10+ years for a Principal level.
Skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading, driving, influencing, aligning, and resolving issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with Directors, VPs, and Executive leadership.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and executive presence.
- Evidence of managing work across both IT and business organizations, including areas such as Technology, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, and Training.
