About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Project Manager. This role requires a blend of project management skills, data domain knowledge, and business analysis expertise to ensure the successful implementation of data technology solutions within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of data applications, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data experts, IT professionals, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes, workflows, and requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Perform impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed solutions, considering factors such as cost, resource requirements, and technical constraints.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data technology trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify opportunities to add value and enhance client satisfaction through the delivery of innovative solutions and exceptional service.
- Solicit feedback from clients to continuously improve processes, products, and services.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the data space of the financial industry.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Familiarity with data technology trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Extensive experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and/or financial crimes data.
