About the role

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, aiming to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to own the technical narrative for Amazon Leo's B2B products and services, defining how Leo is understood, adopted, and trusted by technical decision-makers across every industry we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical positioning and translate complex satellite and networking technology into messaging and differentiated value propositions that resonate with technical decision makers across industries.
  • Create high-impact technical content including solution briefs, technical whitepapers, reference architectures, deployment guides, thought leadership articles, demo scripts, RFP response templates, and executive presentations.
  • Develop and maintain technical sales enablement materials that equip field teams to engage confidently with technical buyers.
  • Partner with product management and GTM teams to lead technical marketing workstreams for product launches, including naming, audience definition, technical messaging, and content execution.
  • Drive primary and secondary research to develop deep understanding of technical buyer needs, evaluation criteria, and decision-making processes across target industries.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, analyst input, and market data to identify positioning gaps and content opportunities, and feed insights back into product strategy.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both technical and executive audiences, and support field teams with technical training, content, and tools that accelerate the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • 5+ years of designing and producing content for a technical audience, such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans and using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Technical experience in one or more fields relevant to LEO, Satellite, or Internet technology (e.g., satellite communications, networking and infrastructure, cloud computing, telecommunications, or systems engineering).
  • Experience developing and owning product positioning and messaging for complex B2B technology products.

Qualifications

  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech teams.
  • Bachelor's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing.
  • Experience in satellite communications, broadband connectivity, or telecommunications industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise connectivity procurement processes and technical evaluation criteria.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $147,200.00 - $198,700.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
