About the role
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive key input metrics to measure developer experience success; establish baselines and track CX impact over time
- Author PR/FAQs for new developer experience capabilities; define product requirements and make tradeoff decisions with senior engineering leaders
- Conduct direct developer observation sessions to identify unarticulated needs; translate insights into product direction changes distinct from explicit customer requests
- Lead large, global, and complex technology initiatives cross-functionally with Leo Engineering, AWS, and Amazon teams
- Provide visibility and clear communication to senior leadership through business reviews and operating plans
- Own end-to-end system readiness and post-launch iteration to scale globally and deliver the best customer experiences
- Build mechanisms to simplify and continuously innovate in an ambiguous, greenfield environment
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Pay
USA, WA, Redmond - 151,200.00 - 204,600.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
