Alexa Voice Service is a voice-based service that allows users to interact with Alexa through various devices and platforms. Our mission is to make Alexa accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Key job responsibilities
- Work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to define Alexa service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and engineering deliverables.
- Work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams.
- Must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews.
- Define integration paradigms across multiple systems, develop a common vision and scope, establish timelines, and drive launch readiness.
- Define the vision and plan by partnering with Business, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders, and execute in partnership with Alexa Engineering and other Amazon teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
- Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies
