This is not a sales role, but rather an opportunity to be the strategic technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to National Security customers.
Responsibilities
- Help craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, OpenSearch, Bedrock, and many more.
- Represent AWS within a customer's environment, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management.
- Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
- Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree, or CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 5+ years of technical work experience
- 7+ years of technical engineering experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) or more of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security/ Applications Development in a distributed systems environment
Skills
Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision makers

Pay
Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
Schedule
Requires 10% or more travel as needed
