About the Role
The Sr Supervisor, Production leads and develops a team of manufacturing technicians in a high‑volume, high‑precision FormFactor semiconductor fab environment. This role is responsible for executing daily production plans, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and driving continuous improvement across assigned shifts or production areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet throughput, quality, cost, and cycle‑time objectives.
- Execute production schedules, capacity plans, and work priorities across assigned tools and processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield, equipment utilization, scrap, and on‑time delivery.
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of production issues impacting safety, quality, or output.
- Directly supervise and develop a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
- Conduct daily shift meetings, performance check‑ins, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
- Execute hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and timekeeping activities.
- Complete formal performance reviews and succession development planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Enforce compliance with safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and EHS standards.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, quality system, and fab operating procedures.
- Participate in audits, corrective actions, and root‑cause investigations.
- Champion safe work practices and immediate response to safety incidents.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and cycle time using Lean / Six Sigma principles.
- Lead kaizen events, standard work creation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between technicians, engineers, and management.
- Communicate production status, risks, and corrective actions clearly and proactively.
- Support change management initiatives and implementation of new tools or processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

Pay
$104,600.00 - $137,235.00 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background. This range applies to the Livermore, California location; pay may vary in other locations.
Schedule
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am. A 15% shift differential is provided for working the night shift.
