The Sr. Solutions Architect, EdTech, WWPS role involves helping customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solving technical problems. This position requires a strong background in cloud computing technologies and a knack for understanding application architectures and integration approaches.

Responsibilities

Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific projects
Defining and designing architectures
Developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies
Maintaining a broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
Providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the EdTech markets
Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
Collaborating with a world-class sales and business development team

Requirements

8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Experience working with end user or developer communities
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
