About the role
The Sr. Solutions Architect, EdTech, WWPS role involves helping customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solving technical problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud computing technologies, application architectures, and integration approaches, and will be able to consult and lead projects.
Responsibilities
- Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific projects
- Defining and designing architectures
- Developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies
- Providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the EdTech markets
- Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping customers design and create cloud computing architectures
- Strategic Advisor mindset
Skills
- Technical presentation experience – White board, small and large group presentations
- Technical – Web Services development/deployment experience, cloud computing
- Operational – Web site/services operations, management, and security

Pay
Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
Schedule
Flexibility to accommodate travel 30%.
