About the role

We are seeking a Sales Manager (Sweet Protein) to execute our business strategy, focus on business opportunities, and achieve annual sales and profit budgets. This remote position is responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in North/South America to achieve sustainable growth in the food ingredient line.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the business strategy and annual plan, organizing resources to achieve sales and profit budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and partners through proactive communication and regular visits.
  • Maintain and improve understanding of products, applications, and markets; share insights with internal teams to optimize product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical and production) to drive sales and business development in North/South America.
  • Generate market insights on customer needs and industry trends to support new product launch strategies.
  • Complete temporary important tasks assigned by superiors.
  • Demonstrate strong sales acumen and a results-driven approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with 5-6+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in food ingredients, food & beverage, sweetener, or flavor ingredient industries.
  • Proven experience in key account management and channel development.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to work independently with high autonomy.
  • Proven success in building relationships at all organizational levels with internal and external customers.
  • Strong understanding of customer psychology and effective sales techniques.
  • Market knowledge and insight in the Food & Beverage/Ingredients space.
  • Strong ability to resist pressure and adapt through continuous learning.
  • Strong communication skills in Mandarin (bilingual preferred).

Pay

Estimated salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 based on experience level.
