Sr./ Sales Manager, Sweet Protein

Responsibilities
- Execute the business strategy and annual plan, focusing on business opportunities to achieve sales and profit budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and partners through proactive communication and regular visits to explore commercial opportunities.
- Maintain and continuously improve understanding of products, applications, and markets, sharing insights with internal teams to optimize product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, production, etc.) to drive sales and business development in North/South America for sustainable growth in the food ingredient line.
- Work with customers and partners to gather market insights on customer needs and industry trends, supporting market strategy for new product launches.
- Complete temporary important tasks assigned by superiors.
- Demonstrate a results-driven approach and strong sales acumen.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above with a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience in food ingredients, food & beverage, sweetener, or flavor ingredient industries.
- Proven experience in key account management and channel development.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills; high level of autonomy and ability to work independently.
- Proven success in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong understanding of customer psychology and effective use of sales techniques.
- Market knowledge and insight into the Food & Beverage/Ingredients space.
- Strong ability to resist pressure and adapt through continuous learning.
- Strong Mandarin communication skills (bilingual preferred).
Pay
The estimated salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 based on experience level.
