Job Duties
- Support talent acquisition strategies to meet business objectives.
- Utilize a variety of methods including but not limited to professional networking, community outreach and cold calling to attract and source candidates for open roles and build a network for future openings.
- Effectively use common tools as well as generate creative ideas for attracting and sourcing candidates.
- Actively engage in recruiting activities aimed at reaching a diverse pool of candidates.
- Evaluate candidates through phone screens and behavioral-based interviews.
- Build customer focused, collaborative relationships throughout the organization with a focus on strong relationships with leaders and hiring managers.
- Partner with HR Business Leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs.
- Serve as a talent advisor to advise, influence and make sound judgment calls on candidate viability and offer negotiation.
- Effectively and efficiently prioritize requisition loads; work independently to fill positions in a responsive and timely manner.
- Research and recommend innovative talent acquisition strategies, serve as subject matter expert in projects or implementation.
- Establish and optimize relationships with direct hire agencies and other sources as needed.
- Focuses on exempt level candidates from Supervisors to C-Class.
- Builds strategic recruiting plans and strategies to engage community and education vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 4-7+ years of progressive experience in recruiting and selection, with 2+ years of experience specializing in technical and engineering roles required (equivalent experience of demonstrable success in filling technology and engineering roles considered).
- Knowledge of unique education, skills and experiences that candidates require.
- Proven track record of direct sourcing, using online recruitment tools, and best practice recruiting methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional market drivers and candidate supply and demand.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal leaders, hiring managers and HR partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws with particular focus on talent acquisition in multiple states to include but not limited to CA., NC., TX. and AR.
