Sr. Project Manager- Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager- Facilities at UVA Community Health in Manassas, Virginia. The role is full-time, with a salary of $42.45- $68.70 hourly. A sign-on bonus is available.

The Sr. Project Manager will manage projects from beginning to finish, working with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. This includes creating budgets and timelines, utilizing project management software, and working directly with the finance department to ensure invoices for projects are paid accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Create RFP (Request for Proposal) documents and assemble interview panels for prospective Architectural, Engineering and Construction firms.
• Work with UVACH legal to create contracts for engagement of Architectural, Engineering and Construction firms.
• Act as mentor for Project Managers.
• Create, prepare and monitor comprehensive budgets for projects.
• Create comprehensive schedules and manage all aspects of project to the schedule.
• Manage all aspects of projects, including paying vendors, overseeing ordering of equipment and furniture.
• Conduct OAC meetings on a regularly scheduled meeting.
• Maintain information in project management software.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory guidelines, to include OSHA, Joint Commission, CMMS, FGI and relevant local authorities.
• Conduct project closeout meetings with Facilities Department to ensure smooth transition.

Requirements

• 4 Year Degree required.
• Experience in Facilities Management within a hospital or healthcare setting.

Skills

• Excellent time management skills.

• Ability to utilize project management software.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, excellent time management and communication skills, and the ability to utilize project management software.
