Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Devices and Services FinTech

Key job responsibilities

• Developing and driving product vision and strategy
• Managing Fintech products throughout the product life cycle
• Identifying business and technical requirements, including customer experience improvements, and prioritizing requests for software development teams
• Providing analytical support, including prototypes and proofs of concept where helpful
• Ensuring that standardization, automation, scalability, and agility are components of the systems and tools
• Influencing internal and external stakeholders on a shared vision with aligned expectations

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks
• Experience in developing financial software

The Amazon Devices and Service Finance organization is expanding its technology team and is seeking a Senior Product Manager with expertise in gathering requirements for financial planning and reporting systems, creating and maintaining technical plans, and diving into the technical details to understand the nuances and complexities involved.

This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. It supports and enables the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the Devices and Services organization.
