About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager based in the United States. This role leads the strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution for highly technical platform capabilities within a fast-growing technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for core platform capabilities, including data infrastructure, APIs, security, integrations, identity solutions, and workflow technologies.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for technical and executive audiences.
  • Develop compelling technical content such as architecture explainers, whitepapers, technical briefs, benchmarks, customer narratives, and solution documentation.
  • Lead messaging around composable technology approaches, AI-driven workflows, and developer-focused capabilities.
  • Create differentiated narratives around data quality, accuracy, identity resolution, security, extensibility, and platform capabilities.
  • Create sales enablement materials including battlecards, objection handling guides, competitive positioning, FAQs, and technical evaluation resources.
  • Partner with sales engineering teams to improve technical buyer engagement during RFPs, security reviews, and proof-of-concept processes.
  • Drive end-to-end go-to-market initiatives for new product releases, platform enhancements, security features, connectors, APIs, and workflow capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to align product roadmaps with market needs and customer value.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to identify customer insights, use cases, and opportunities that strengthen product adoption.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy, pricing discussions, and differentiation efforts.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor across the organization, influencing product, executive, and go-to-market decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, technical product management, or a closely related role.
  • Significant experience marketing technical B2B SaaS products, especially platforms, data solutions, infrastructure, APIs, security, AI, or developer-focused products.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear positioning, messaging, and business value.
  • Experience creating technical sales enablement materials and supporting enterprise sales processes.
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS buyers, including technical stakeholders, IT teams, security teams, data leaders, developers, and business executives.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to understand and demonstrate technical products, APIs, integrations, and modern technology architectures.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to create both concise messaging and detailed technical content.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Able to operate effectively as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Experience with data enrichment, identity solutions, AI/agent-based architectures, composable platforms, or developer ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in areas such as revenue technology, marketing technology, account-based marketing, customer data platforms, or related industries is a plus.
