Sr Pricing Manager

About the role

The Senior Pricing Manager will focus on developing, owning, and maintaining end-to-end pricing strategies, price modeling, cost and margin analysis, and profitability for the merchant and banking segment. This role involves creating processes to drive consistency in Pricing Analytics, identifying improvement needs, and facilitating the development and implementation of pricing standards aligned with business objectives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to recommend and enable price modeling techniques that improve ACI’s market position.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategy with business goals.
• Maintain and develop pricing strategies aligned with business goals and market trends, including Value-Based pricing strategies.
• Review current pricing curves and propose pricing adjustments to stakeholders based on cost analysis and competitive landscape.
• Identify pricing trends, competitor pricing models, and customer preferences.
• Monitor the impact of pricing changes on company profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and monetization to drive incremental revenue.
• Perform analysis on existing price curves and cost models to identify opportunities for optimization on existing and new customers.
• Leverage data and data analytics to substantiate market price and maintain ownership of the price book.
• Establish appropriate pricing processes and tools.
• Lead seamless execution of the pricing strategy across products.
• Apply analytical precision and statistics to inform pricing adjustments and creation processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline, Finance, or other business field.
• 8+ years of B2B experience.
• 5+ years of experience with statistical modeling, SAAS pricing models, and Value-Based Pricing.
• 5+ years of experience presenting pricing strategies to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in translating pricing analytics into actionable solutions that drive strategic initiatives and enhance business outcomes.
• Understand market dynamics, customer behavior, and profitability.
• Ability to effectively manage and sequence multiple tasks.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and creates clarity and structure out of chaos and noise.
• Business and finance acumen.
• Strong interpretation and storytelling of data.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Power BI and Salesforce CPQ tools.
• Banking, Payments, or FinTech experience.

Work Environment

• Standard office or remote work environment.
• Majority of time spent on PC.
