Sr. Platting Coordinator - Land Development

General Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects within the Houston, Harris County area, throughout the entire plat submittal and approval process.
• Work directly with other consultants, engineering teams, and clients to manage the platting process, schedules, and budgets as they relate to the platting of these projects.
• Provide basic land planning and platting expertise when necessary.
• Know the platting regulations for most agencies in the Houston, Harris County area.
• Represent the projects with the governmental agencies and present plats approval applications to the various planning staff, Planning Commissions, and City Councils for approval.
• Require some supervisory responsibilities and the ability to work with a team.

Required Education/Licenses

• A high school diploma required.
• An associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Experience

• 8-10 years of experience dealing directly in the Subdivision Platting industry; either with surveying or engineering firms.
• Experience working with the local, Houston area and Harris County agencies.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project software programs.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
